Control Systems ( HL Part of Paper 1 20%)

The goal of any electrical or electronic control system is to measure, monitor, and control a process or plant.

One way in which we can accurately control the process is by monitoring its output and “feeding” some of it back to compare the actual output with the desired output. The aim is to reduce the error and to bring the output of the system back to the original or desired response.

I always think of an aeroplane flying from one place to another. The plane is never or rarely exactly on a straight line. There are constant re-adjustments made by the pilot or the plane's auto pilot control system.
